Thursday March 24, 7:00pm in the sanctuary we will be showing Mel Gibson's The Passion of the Christ movie, followed by a discussion time. Please consider coming and bringing a friend this night. Our new technology (and copyright site license that we just purchased) allow us the chance to watch this production (and hopefully others in the future) with excellant picture and sound quality.

Good Friday March 25, 10:30am in the santuary we will be having our Good Friday service focussing on Jesus' death. Please don't go through Easter without attending a Good Friday service, otherwise Easter Sunday doesn't make sense.

Easter Sunday March 27, 6:00am at LaFarge Lake next to the Evergreen Cultural Centre, we will have a Sunrise Service. Just a couple of readings and then singing some songs as we walk around this small lake, reminding us of the first Easter when at sunrise it was determined that Jesus had risen.

Easter Sunday March 27, 10:30am in the sanctuary our Easter Resurrection celebration service. This service will be followed by an Easter egg hunt for the kids and hot cross buns for the adults.

If you would like to help by donating Easter Eggs for the Hunt please bring them this Sunday (March 20) and give them to Cheryl Alexander. We would prefer the Kinder Surprise Eggs, but any donations are most welcome.

Please pray about these services and your own involvement. I know it is tempting just to enjoy the long weekend, but there is a purpose behind this weekend, an important reminder of Jesus' death, burial and resurrection for each one of us. These services are also being advertized in the local paper, so please pray that people from the community will see the ads and respond by coming out.
