Paraphrased, of course, but I hope you get the point.
Not all people who celebrate the Christian faith feel the need to direct every single thought that way. It is because I am expressive that I am able to love God.
I'm not going to argue, but I see no problem with pride in my nation, unless it overshadows the importance of the Father in my life. And nothing will ever do that, not my drug habits, not my friends, my smoking, dancing, eating meat on Friday. None of it will change the undying love and devotion I feel towards my faith.
And nor will I spend my entire life trying to force other people to believe what I say they should believe, because even in the bible it says that our human nature is to be unsure. To constantly doubt, and though we are to try to maintain a childlike faith, we have to grow in our faith as well. Part of my growth has been to accept that free will is a beautiful thing, and no amount of forcing someone into it is anywhere near as sweet as hearing someone say they've come to it upon their own accord.
So if I'm pagan to you, so be it, but I tend to think I have a relatively openminded and realistic approach, not to mention relationship with God.
This will be the only thing I write about this issue.... If you respect me enough to leave me be, you can hang around. If its' gunna be scriptures repeatedly trying to make me feel guilty for the style in which I live, thats fine too.. but I'd prefer not.
Thanks again, there, tigers.

    Adam:
Is that the best you can do? Must you comment peoples' comment sections with your drivel?

You have a keen knowledge of the bible, and religious writings. Fine. Don't bore us with with a pile of jargon we don't need to know. After all, the bible is only a book, which can be paraphrased. Any practical knowledgable person is constantly looking for ways to summarize what they mean, not reiterate everything they have memorized from every book they know. You wanna get attention of those that aren't interested in the BS? SUMMARIZE.

'I truly hope you know Jesus Christ and hope to see you in heaven girl.'

nice ego brush there buddy. Pat yourself on the back for that one. I like how you actually try to convince everyone else, as well as yourself, that you really wish the best for Lexy, when in reality you couldn't give a fuck, as long as you appear to be more Christian, more knowledgable of Christianity, and closer to Jesus then anyone.

    Andrew:
    who are you?

    really though, who are you?

do you have any idea who I am?

I'm not affiliated with Lexy in any way, and I fail to fit into your esay stereotype or quick judgements of a non-Christian, who smokes pot and doesn't give a fuck about any stupid Christians. I think Christianity is ok, although I do pick up a bit of condesending attitude from you and your brother (conveniant that he is your brother) regarding your faith and your religion, which I find to be hilarious. That is what I have a problem with, and being Christian you have the luxery of falling into the category where you don't have to worry about other because of title.

I'm not even going to go near your self-glorifing, self-rightous attitude towards Lexy and us non-extremist. The fact that you assumed I was at the 'Cannabis Day celebration' speaks more about your ugly attitude and assuptions towards your fellow man then your brother even. I'm certainly glad all Christians aren't like you in that regard.

I really don't find you a practical opponant for this sort of argument. You obviously have the ammature typically Christian opinion that since I'm cursing, or useing casual language, somehow my argument is degraded. At least I'm not attacking you or your brother ignorantly, calling you 'bible thumpers'. I don't know you, so I don't assume that you're super-religious to a fault, even though you certainly seem to be. To attack something you can't possibly know is the stupidest thing I've ever come accross in an argument. Its just as absurd as me calling you a pothead.

Like I said, I'm not affiliated with Lexy, I'm not even in the same province as her. I've never smoked pot, not that that should even matter (the point is you're an idiot for trying to attack me hoping I'm some pothead or something), I just have a problem with people using religion as a means to glorify themselves and denounce others.

Andrew: you're an idiot. But don't worry, you can redeem yourself by actually having a proper argument! (which you won't do)

Adam: at least you're relevant with your pretentiousness. Although I don't expect your ego to lighten up. Heres a tip: keep your brother off the computer. He's making you look bad.

'"Do not answer a fool according to his folly, or you will be like him yourself."'

Congradulations. You fit your own quote.

As much as I appreciate healthy banter, this is just ridiculous.
    I respect your beliefs.
Good luck to the brown brothers in their travels.
